In short

I have learned C when I was 16-years old, and learned unix in the 1993 Now I have a 10 years working experience on IT field, eight of them passed on Banking/Financial specific projects. I have a strong and deep knowledge of Web Application developing mostly on Java (i.d. portal servers and Struts), but also on other languages and technologies (for instance php, python).

Insight

I have a very good functional background on Banking processes (mostly on trading on line, and on security issues) formalized with UML and Rational Unified Process.

I am skilled in leading projects, especially in deliverying live end-user systems on tight schedules, working with small and high-skilled team.
I have also a very good sensibility to understand Customers priorities for giving them the maximum on every stage of delivery. My preferred programming languages are Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, SmallTalk, C++.
I have acquired strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills in the last years.

Master Degree in Information Technology in the 2000.

Leadership Experience

2006-2004 I was the Software Architect for a medium sized Financial product written in Java (Customer Portfolio Manager). In that role I worked for a lot of Bank as Client Delivery Manager and Software Architect:
- 2006 Installed a Customer Portfolio Manager Solution in Fineco Bank.
- 2005 I carried out an integration work between .NET and Java web service in ING Direct for a Fund trading Service.
  I was Software Architect and integration manager.
- 2004 Software ARchitect and delivery manager for a Customer Portfolio Manager Solution for BPU
2003 I was hired as Senior Consultant working for Locat Leasing. I was Project Manager in a small team (4 people).
2002 I worked for FinanzAttiva (BPU division) for the start up of www.bpupramerica.it. I carried out the "reserved area" section and the integration layer with the back office. I was Project Manager for the overall project.
2000-2001 I worked as Senior developer in a big Trading on line project, done in J2EE technology (EJB 1.x, JMS, CORBA).
